Prof. Ekumankama E.O., on Thursday, 16th May 2024 paid a follow-up visit to the Scientific Equipment Development Institute (SEDI) Enugu. The University don, was received by Engr. David Dania, the Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive and the management team. It can be recalled that Prof. Ekumankama E.O. Visited SEDI Enugu on Thursday, 14th March 2024, where he requested on behalf of his Vice Chancellor of Ebonyi State University for the design and fabrication of some Laboratory Equipments to be produced by SEDI Enugu.
It can be recalled also, that the Ag. MD/CE SEDI Enugu, Engr. David Dania assured Prof. Ekumankama that SEDI Enugu will come up with the designs and prototypes of the requested laboratory equipment within two(2) months. Today, exactly, two(2) months after, the Professor visited SEDI Enugu for the assessment of the prototypes. Prof. Ekumankama expressed satisfaction for the progress made so far and further requested that SEDI design and develop 2 more equipments to the initial list of 5, bringing the total number of requested equipments to be seven(7) all together. In closing, the Ag.MD/CE, Engr. David Dania assured Prof. Ekumankama that by his next visit which is in two(2) time, SEDI Enugu would have factored in his recommendations as well as produced the prototypes for the additional request.
